No, if you already submitted an abstract for ICUP2020 and this contribution was ACCEPTED you do not need to submit your contribution again. This abstract and the corresponding paper or poster will be considered as submitted and accepted for ICUP2022. Please notice that this option will only apply for ACCEPTED ABSTRACTS. If your abstract was rejected or if you subsequently cancelled that submission, your contribution will not be considered.
If you submitted an abstract for ICUP2020 with your details as contact person, you should have an acknowledgement of receipt, automatically sent just after every successful submission from the email

If the contact person needs to withdraw the previously accepted abstract, because none of the authors will be able to attend in the new dates in 2022, the contact person needs to send an email as soon as possible to the scientific secretariat (
In that case, you need to withdraw your previous submission and submit your contribution again through the submission form published on the website for new contributions and open until 25/10/21. Please notice that you need to meet the deadline to submit this new version to be considered.
To do so, you would firstly need to send an email, as soon as possible, to the scientific secretariat to inform that you want to withdraw a previously accepted abstract and after that you will be able to submit the new version (modified or updated) through the submission form for ICUP2022.
If you want to submit a new abstract for the 2022 Conference, you need to submit it through the submission form published on the website. Please notice that the submission form will closes on 25/10/21 to submit new proposals for ICUP2022.
Any error you may detect in the new submitted abstract could be directly corrected through the submission form by accessing with the email of the contact person and the password received in the acknowledgement of receipt. Changes through the submission form will only be possible until the submission deadline for ICUP2022, and will only be possible for new abstracts (not for abstracts submitted for ICUP2020).
Final evaluation of all the submitted abstracts will be carried out during November 2021. In November 29, 2021, authors will be notified about the acceptance or rejection of their abstract and the kind of presentation together with other details.
